Alice Holtom, LL.B (Hons), MSoM, FILEX

Alice holds degrees in both Law and Social Studies & Philosophy. A non-practicing Barrister and a Chartered Legal Executive, Alice has worked in the Housing Sector for over 20 years, working for local government, private law firms, housing associations, charities and not for profit organisations. 

Alice is a highly effective listener with an exceptional ability to comprehend and process information, paying keen attention to detail; with these skills, Alice is able to quickly understand the subtle nuances of each parties concerns whilst maintaining a balanced and neutral position. Highly experienced in conflict resolution, negotiation and litigation, 

Alice splits her time between being a Legal Aid Housing Lawyer, managing a small property portfolio and Mediation. Alice’s other interests include, gardening and scuba diving: Alice also plays saxophone in a local Ska Band.

Alex Christian, LL.B (Hons), LL.M, MSoM, CertMAP

Alex has spent over 20 years working in the legal advice sector, managing and advising services in areas such as Housing, Money Advice, Insolvency, Employment, Welfare Benefits, Landlord and Tenant, Consumer, Discrimination, and Family Law. 

Alex has experience in the private and public legal sector, as well as working in the third sector for Citizens Advice, and Shelter. He is skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and advocacy, with a strong grasp of financial aspects in disputes.

Alex is passionate about all forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), especially mediation. He currently divides his time between practicing mediation and working as a Legal Housing Consultant. A Member of the Society of Mediators, Alex's interests include cycling, playing squash, theatre, film, rugby, and walking.
